Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Camp H.O.P.E. is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning some content may not yet fully meet the standard; we are actively working to address any areas that fall short.

Measures we take

To support accessibility, this site uses semantic HTML, descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, keyboard-navigable controls, and clear, consistent structure. Links that lead to another organisation’s website are announced to screen reader users as opening in a new tab on an external site. Accessibility is considered as part of our ongoing site maintenance and review.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you encounter a barrier or need information in an alternative format, please let us know:

Email: info@camp-hope.com
Phone: 330-323-1010

We try to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

Compatibility

This site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers and with assistive technologies including screen readers. It may not work optimally with browsers older than three versions back.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. Our events calendar is embedded from a third party, and we cannot guarantee its accessibility; if you have difficulty using it, contact us and we will send you the current schedule in another format.
